WE ARE UP AND RUNNING FOR 2008!
The International Stunt School remains the foremost stunt training facility in
the industry! We remain the bench mark for those schools that endeavor to emulate us.
This is due primarily to the constant upgrading and refinement of the curriculum
and the quality of our staff. Over the past 16 years we have created a team
philosophy in our approach to developing "stunt performers" which has significantly
benefited our students whereby they are now entering the stunt industry at an
accelerated pace well beyond our prior years and far beyond our competition.
We are the only
"licensed and registered" stunt school in the industry.
This in itself is a significant factor in that we
are required by law to adhere to rigid guidelines set forth by the state and the
Workforce Training Board which oversee's all vocational schools in the State of Washington.
We encourage all prospective students to view our "video demos" to ascertain the
quality of the program and staff.
The videos give a detailed perspective of the facilities, and the superior level
of instruction. By providing the videos we
leave nothing to the imagination. A candidate does not have to "read between
the lines" to facilitate an informed opinion of the school, thereby avoiding those
stunt schools that are less reputable.
A note to our International friends: The devaluation of the
US dollar over the past few years has
created a situation whereby Internationals can take advantage of exchange rates
that are very favorable!
Lastly, we have made a significant change this year in
reference to our instructional format. We will be conducting only one standard
training this year instead of the previous two standard training sessions. We
have had the good fortune this year to expand our training sites significantly
to accommodate more students, and have also been able to move the training to
the middle of summer (July 28-Aug.16) thereby allowing more students the opportunity
to do the training at a more opportune time. In the past, we have always had
those students who either had to attend stunt school early in June or late in
August due to academic commitments or work place obligations. Now we have a
time that should accommodate everyone including our Internationals that will
take place in the middle of summer where the weather will be optimal! There
will be more teachers and more space to accommodate the new format. We look
forward to our new format, and hope this makes the stunt training more viable for
our prospective candidates.
